Here are just a few tips on how to use your Lexmark printer in a more efficient manner in your home to help you reduce your environmental impact:

Cutting down on your paper usage:

• Many of Lexmark's printers offer DUPLEX printing which allows Two-sided printing, reducing your paper usage by up to 50%.
• Use the N-up feature to print multiple pages on a single sheet of paper.
• With fit-to-page features in the Lexmark Web Toolbar you can eliminate unnecessary pages printed due to formatting errors. E.g. How many times have you printed a web page and received your print out and a blank page?

All these features are included across the Lexmark range, saving you money and reducing paper waste.

Cutting down on the amount of cartridges you use:

• Using High-yield cartridges not only allows users to receive a better Cost Per Page, but allows customers to reuse one cartridge longer - reducing production and the amount put in the landfill.

Cutting down on the amount of energy used in the home:

• All of our Home and Student & Professional products are energy star qualified.
• Our products include an energy saver mode that goes into "sleep" mode and drops power to .05 amps of power.
